Dark Lord was so much better when it was in the old bottles.

If anyone is staying at the hotel in schererville I called today and found out that they are going to be running a shuttle service from about a block away from the brewery to the hotel. It's going to run every half hour from 9 AM to about Midnight. $10 a head each way. If you want any details I'd give them a call at 1-708-758-3399. I know for sure I'll be using them after a long day of drinking

I bought a little pop-up tent for Saturday too, it'll keep the rain off, but gloves will be necessary

waiting outside in line for the XV party, temperatures fell and the wind picked up...it was cold, so this won't be anything different. They did have space heaters inside the grounds.

You can get one if you call one. That's what we did last year.

They replied to someone on twitter that the tent situation will be same as last DLD... which means no tents if I remember correctly (except where the guest taps where which wasn't for hanging out).

Also, they tweeted to someone that they are working on a long blog post with all sorts of details. Hopefully they get that up today.

Nick Floyd on Dark Lord Day:

""It's the most stressful day of the year," Floyd said. "But eventually you get drunk enough. By the time you're (messed) up and High on Fire is playing onstage, everything is OK."

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I WANT TO SEE THE GUEST TAP LISTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way they have ever taken this long. It's crushing my soul at an ever increasing pace. I need to work on my patience, I suppose. Here's to hoping that we see some nice Cigar City goodies as a return favor ;-)

In case I missed it, is the allotment still four per ticket?

No word yet. Seems like a safe bet, though.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought it was released the day before DLD last year

Last year, the guest tap list was posted the Wednesday before Dark Lord Day, on Wednesday, April 27.

Additionally, there were several releases that did not make the published tap list last year (such as Founders CBS) that were present (for a brief period of time) throughout the day at the guest taps.

    Question.

I know other breweries are going to have taps there for guest taps but will any of them have bottles/cans for sale? Or just tap

45 degrees with 70% chance of rain.

    I'M GOING TO DIE.

Anywho, looking forward to seeing all of you!

    Quick question...

My friends have B tickets but don't want to show up crazy early to do the line (their loss). I'm guessing by like noon the original line will be pretty short. Is that a poor assumption? They are hoping to show up and waltz in the door, hop in line to buy their beer, THEN hang out through the evening.

Thoughts on how they might accomplish that?
