Which means the second to last bottle has about $50-$100 more beer in it than the third bottle.

I have a friend who works a couple blocks away and that was the exact thought process after I asked him to go and then found out how much they are charging.

Are they doing 100% to animal charity as they did with the auction bottles?

I suspect so. The original plan was to raffle them off to benefit Guide Dogs for the Blind, but that ran into some legal issues around raffling alcohol. This appears to be plan B.

How many bottles are for sale?

The trading forums are going to be a full reveal of personal cellar contents. Anyone with a solid chunk of disposable liquid assets is going to be one happy camper today!

I went there to check it out. I turned right around at 2000 dollars a bottle. Even with my intent to just trade the damn thing, that's still not worth it.

Just left there. Alan told me the price himself and I passed it on. Good news is that it's only $1500 for on-site consumption.

Does anyone have details regarding the charitable side of this? Thanks.

So, proceeds go to the same charity that would have been the benefactor of the auction proceeds?

I want to see Alan rebrew Dave after selling the last of it. Just because it wouldn't be worth the same otherwise.

Would advise to take the $2k and put it in born/unborn child's college fund so he/she receives proper education and not drool over absurdly priced bottles of beer.

If the money goes to charity, I could write it off on my taxes :sunglasses:.

They're selling flat bottles of Dave for $600 to go - $400 if you drink it there.
