The Blendiculous Name Game​

It's time once again for you...our loyal customers to select the name for #2 in our series of crazy, one-off, deliciousness known as Blendiculous!​

This rendition is lovingly made by your favorite Rockstars at Foothills Brewery....obviously local favorites and buddies of ours and known to have a knack for knocking out "home runs."
Maybe you've heard of them?​

Blendiculous #2 will definitely live up to it's name as we explore what happens when you take an entirely new recipe and let it sleep on some small batch, outlandish Blue Corn Whiskey Barrels, and then close our eyes and start throwing into the mix whatever is closest to us!

As of now....Here are some specs...
Base Brew: Imperial India Brown Ale​

Barrels Used: Balcones Distillery, Texas​

There will be two varieties of Balcones Barrels Used​

Rumble: A Blue Corn Whiskey aged with Turbinado Sugar, Wildflower Honey, and Mission Figs
(The absolute epitome of incredible!)​

Single Malt: The Reserve Malt Driven Whiskey (The flagship.)​

Extra Blending: We're leaving this one wide open... Yes...it will be "re-hopped" after it comes out of the barrels, with what, well.....Yes, it will go through some "special" blending(s) with other enhancing deliciousness that will bring out the layers that we're looking for...The basic gist that you should be gettin' here is that we have a fantastical idea of where we want the brew to be and what we're going to add or take away until it's there.

Now that you have an idea about the brew,
Here's How The Game Works....
You can submit Name Ideas to multiple different areas where posted: Email, Facebook, Twitter, Beer Advocate, In the Store, Web Site or Blog, pretty much any outlet that we (as the judges) can see it!
The First Round will go through the first week of October. The list will then be narrowed down to five names and then selected through voting by the community (that's you guys). The chosen name winner will entitle the brew, and to the victor will go all the spoils (in this case the spoils are gloating to all your buddies and some bottles of the brew).
Please Remember the label is going to need to get approval by legislative bodies, so while our humor knows no bounds the label needs to make it through.

Blendiculous #2 (if it is ready, by our palate!) is set to Release at the Beginning of November, and future details of release etc. will come soon!​
