I used to take the ones from work after we get our own deliveries. But now everyone is using those bigger air pillows and that foam in a bag stuff that molds to the shape of the item, so not really reusable. Don't want to resort to buying too much of the stuff. Where do you guys get yours?

PLEASE STOP with the peanuts and taping bubble wrap around bottles!!!!

There are much easier ways to ship things and allow you to recycle materials...with ease.

I will not stop with the peanuts. They are wonderful in between boxes when you double box. Taping the shit out of the bubble wrap on the other hand... not cool brah.

The packing tape on the bubble wrap is the worst. I use painters tape not as sticky. Have seen people using rubberbands which I think is smart too.

No tape, no rubber bands. Just bubble wrap your bottles, then wrap them with this. Cheap, effective, and holds the bubble wrap tight against the bottle.

Oh, and I have no issue with packing peanuts. Either get a bag at Uhaul, or if thats not available, places like Office Max sell boxes of them too (but much more expensive there)

Use whatever you want as long as the bottles arrive safely.

nope, tape on bubble wrap is just wrong... lol

Sadly 90% or more of people do it. It sucks to throw away all of that bubble wrap. I try to salvage what I can, but usually it's 50/50.

I often use bubble wrap and packing tape around the bottles I send, even when putting them inside a shipper. I understand some people may see this as a pain, but I've never once had a bottle break.

I'll look in to the painter's tape and rubberband idea though

If you pack the beers properly, the beers shouldn't move in the box at all. You really don't need to tape/rubber band/shrink wrap the bubble wrap. Just wrap it around the bottle and be done with it.

They key here is to make sure the bottles aren't loose fitting inside the box.

You trade for beer, not bubble wrap. Who cares about the tape on it if gets to you safely.

Why don't you just use the bubble wrap that is ruined for padding/ filler material? No need to throw it away. That what I do, and it works great for padding between bottles or for bottles that are near box walls.

Painters tape is really good for bubble wrap - holds the wrap in place and is easy to remove when it's received.
