Black Tuesday 2013

Sorry.....I am going to the release this year, they have a Saturday A & B session as well. You get glassware, tastes of limited variants, and a bottle of BT to go. Are you coming to SoCal for sure ?

It kinda pisses me off that they don't distribute black tuesday. This is probably my biggest ISO, but I'd have to trade an arm and a leg or pay up the bum to get some because I don't live in Cali

 

Now you know how some of us feel here in Cali when we just want some Heady Topper and that brew is year round.

 

Take a 6 hour ride to hill farmstead, buy anything there, trade it for black tuesday. Boom, done! You're welcome.

 

Haha I did think about this before posting and I feel for ya, I'm very fortunate to live so close to Alchemist and HF. I need to get my ass up there ASAP and make this happen.

Bruery n00b here. How does one go about purchasing Black Tuesday? Which Society do/can you join and what are the costs involved? I would love to get a trustee if it's not too much of a financial commitment.

 

At least 4 ways to get bottles this year.
1) Join the preservation society ~$54 a qtr includes 3 bottles one of which will be BT next quarter.
2) Buy bottles during the public sale ~$30 a bottle
3) Reserve society: Set number of bottles allocated, bottle of BT included with membership. Reserve society for next year open in a few days ~$300 includes many other bottles and perks
4) Hoarders Society: 2x Reserve society ~$700 RS+more

The Bruery only ships inside of California, so you would need to find a trustee to ship you your bottles. Or you can pick them up yourself. I believe the window to pickup bottles from the general bottle sale is quite short.

 

I'd be happy to trustee for a couple of people, I'm local so no double shipping.

There's a slight change I may have an extra ticket to the Saturday session. Not positive yet though.

Actually, according to their website, they'll hold the bottles until March of 2015 at the store.
