Nervously awaiting the start of the third period of the Rangers game while sipping a Lagunitas Cappucino Stout. The coffee has faded a bit but still tasty. Hoping to bust open something special to celebrate the Rangers moving on.

Courtesy of a trade with iLOVEbeer, I'm enjoying my first ever Ten Fidy and watching the draft.

    Cheers.

after a wonderful home cooked dinner from mama-dukes nothing like settling into the evening with some barrel aged goodness. opted for §ucaba this evening...definitely solid, but not as wonderful as i remember Abacus being. was on the fence about getting more at first as this was my only bottle, but will probably pick up another while it is still around to see how this one ages.

The easiest to find IPA in my area, but it never ever disappoints.

My first barleywine....have always stayed away from the style since I didn't think I'd like it based on what I heard of the style but knowing this was atypical for the style I figured I'd give it a shot 'cause I was curious. Glad I gave it a try as I did enjoy it, reminded me of a super hoppy imperial amber. That said, I think how its different than the typical barleywine is what allowed me to enjoy it, so probably wont be going on a barleywine run anytime soon.

Started with really fresh Flower Power, Hoptimum, Double Crooked Tree, and finishing with a Plead the 5th. Awesome beer night.

The HD might not be good, but enjoying U-Verse Multiview and viewing the NFL Draft on NFL Network, White Sox game (pretty bad right now), and Bulls game at the same time.

Drinking a FFF Zombie Dust right now! Hoping that Chandler Jones is still available for the Bears at #19...

Had an Alt by a new local Austin brewery Hops and Grains...now I'm a few sips into Weyerbacher's Blasphemy. A little sweet and hot but a damn good barrel aged Quad. Wish I had another bottle to check out next year....

Just got back from a wine tasting at the neighbor's house. Time for some beer. Start off with with a Dark Horse Double Crooked Tree, actually, considering the ABV, this will probably be it
