The eagle has left the nest. Heading east for a trip that sounds like it will take a ridiculously long time. Kind of like the wait for a cup.

That Wellington Sour sounds interesting. I hadn't even heard of it until I saw it on that list.

 

Glad you liked it! I wasn't sure, because I wasn't able to get many good Sours (your favorite style) to include in the box.

There is no freshness date on the Yakima, but the guy at the beer store told me they received it early last week so it should be fresh. The Leo's arrived at the store only a couple hours before I picked it so it should be really fresh.

Everything was super solid, a great mix of styles and everthing is new. As for sours and wilds, I've been wanting the Co Hop V for a while and the Spontankriek was an awesome surprise. I've had the Spontancranberry amd Spontangrape and loved them. Going to crack in to the IPA's today.

So... given that I already had more than 12 beers that I wanted to include in my BIF box, I did the only logical thing today and bought MORE beer. Now I have 3 more that I have to decide on. What makes the box and what gets bumped???

 

Nice..my box has arrived in the destination city and will be delivered tomorrow (or maybe picked up at a postal station)

 

Box was just dropped at the post office and contains a beer named after a decisive battle of the 1st World War (just a small hint so that my target can identify me).

 

My box's current expected delivery date is October 8th. I guess it does have a fair bit of ground to cover...

 

See a couple BC boxes are due to arrive tomorrow. Not sure if mine is set to arrive, but if so I have unfortunately been trapped on an island due to BC Ferries refusing to sail in a small 100km + gust storm. Lame.

 

Dropped off my box this morning. Heading west. Should arrive by Friday. Somewhere in the range of 250 oz ...

 

I'm getting excited to find a mystery box on my front step when I get home sometime this week...forgot my tracking # but think if my package wasn't already delivered it should arrive today.

 

My box just arrived at my work, safe & sound. Will open it up and post a picture when I get home tonight...

 

Your restraint is admirable! That box is getting opened the moment I get my hands on it - I think the bigger question for me is whether I'll be able to resist drinking one in the office or not

 

LOL, I've opened up boxes at the office before and it just makes it a pain since I have to re-pack it and haul it down to the parking garage (I am on the top floor, of course). Although this appeared to be a styro-shipper, so I probably could have opened it...
