There's a terrible cold going around my office. Just saying.

 

Hoping that the last item I wanna add arrives today so I can go drop off the box. If not, it'll be going out either way and I'll send it separately at a later time. Get excited if you live east of me.

 

The box I sent? : Attempted delivery. Notice card left indicating where item can be picked up.

Someone needs to go home and collect the card and then their box!

 

So a little strange - my box was delivered on the 25th but haven't seen anything from the recipient...maybe Seven or Phil could follow-up?

 

I've contacted your target. He's been active on BA recently, so I am not sure what has happened...

I really can't wait to see if my box has arrived in Ottawa when I get home on Wednesday. All of this beerporn is making me beerhorny.

 

Whoa! Someone at Canada Post is working serious overtime. My package's original delivery estimate of October 8th is now October 2nd. The box is now in Mississauga.

 

Mine's still the 8th. Arse!

 

Well, I arrived home to find a delivery card, excellent. However I can't pick up the package until tomorrow according to it. The anticipation.

 

Just got home to find this excellent assortment waiting for me! I'm not sure exactly the BA's user name (and I'm not sure if posting real names is Kosher), so hopefully he can step forward.




Believe it or not, I'm most looking forward to the Red Racer Pumpkin Ale. I tried to trade for that one and it illuded me in 2011 and 2012. I'd actually given up and forgotten about it, didn't even remember to ask anyone for it this year. Nice to see it founds it's way to me! Oh, and Sartori is already chilling in thre fridge...

 

I'm really sorry! I didn't know it was delivered since I thought the notice card would be on my front door like they do all the time, not in the mailbox...
I got the notice at 8:02 so I'll go get the box at the post office tomorrow afternoon.

Awesome. Good guy post office had the box ready to pick up. Great assortment with a ton of stuff I've never heard of and nothing I've ever had. Really excellent box, thanks! (soods, I'm guessing).

My box is finally complete. It's a touch North of 250 oz. It is going out late because of a beer run to one of those 'Southern' breweries (pic below). The box is heading West and will arrive in its watery destination soon!

 

Oh wow, that's a great box! Let me know if you need a hand trying any of them... :-)

 

magerob....yes that's my box. Glad it's there and all in one piece. Hope you enjoy! Also great that you got it earlier than you expected.

 

A couple of observations so far:

1. The quality of the boxes has been outstanding. Every single box so far has been a great one and some have been jaw-dropping.

2. The huge improvement in the Ontario beer scene over the past 6 months is really showing in the boxes heading outbound from ON. In past BIFs, we've often struggled to keep up with the shelf beers in BC and QC specifically. But this BIF is making Ontario brewers proud. I hope the people who have (and will) received boxes from Ontario share my point of view.
