    Just a heads up.
Dude at Wine Emporium just informed me that the sixers of HU and Jabby will be in tomorrow morning.
I immediatly asked about the pricepoint and he said he didn't have an exact figure yet but that it was going to be in the neigborhood of.....
10 fucking dollars. And a bit less for Jabby Brau.
Fuck. Yes. We have great people brewing beer for us in Framingham. Be grateful.

I'd assume we'll see that as soon as retailers burn through the larger format. Shouldn't be long... I'm personally disposing of at least 8 a week.
The recipe adjustment is right on the money imo.

We do not have an exact time table yet on 4-packs of Mass Rising but it will be before the end of the year. It will still be available in its current format until then.

Are the 500ml bottles still being dated? The 12 or so Pro-Am Pils and Mass Rising bottles haven't had dates on them.

We are having major issues with our dater at the moment. Fixing it has gotten delayed as our technical expertise has been focused on installing our new bottling line and getting tanks up and running. Jack becoming a father last week did not help either. Now that most of the larger projects are out of the way getting the dater working properly is quickly moving up the priority list. I cannot promise exactly when it will be working, as we would have fixed it already if it was simple, but it is important to us to get it working as soon as possible.

I have to guess that their model is working just fine for them, at least for now. It would be cool if they reconsidered (I'd be willing to try out their bottles more often if they tweaked things a bit, but for right now I'm out.)

Perhaps they are using their premium pricing model to help them save up for a spendy pH meter to help them out with batch consistency?

Oh no - those are some really expensive and hard to come by hops. That's bad news.

I wonder during what part of the production process the power went out - that sucks that it nixed a whole batch.

Edit and further proof that craft beer is mostly asshole free: From JA on FB: Thanks to Wormtown Breweryand Kretschmann Brewing Company we will have the hops we need to replace the lost batch!

    wow that sucks.

    From Facebook:
"Today, while brewing Kiwi Rising, a truck hit a power line down the road and we lost all power for several hours. As a result we had to dump an entire batch of Kiwi Rising down the drain. There will still be a lot of Kiwi Rising as there are several other batches planned, and we are doing everything we can to try to source more New Zealand hops to replace the lost batch."
