Job Quiting Beer

    Since I know you are all on the edge of you seats and can't wait for an update - the resignation went well, my boss was very good about it, and my co-workers are excited for me. I think I can enjoy my beer in peace.

    And the best part is that Monday will be last my day, so I have nearly two weeks off before the new one starts.

    SN Celebration is not out yet (at least not in MA). One of my favorite all time beers. I still have a few in my basement that I'm rotating through the fridge to tide me over. Personally, I'd grab a 22 of something delicious like Firestone Walker Double Jack, Bear Republic Cafe Racer 15, etc.

    I thought the same thing when I resigned from my last job 6 years ago. Was kinda pissed that they asked me to stay on. Of course, it just meant I got two weeks of people buying me lunch and drinks, so it wasn't all bad.

    Start with Good Bye Blue Sky from Port, then finish with Hello My Name is Amber from Flat 12. Of course, this may require more of a change than you're willing to go through :wink:

    bottle of the whiskey/Bourbon you love, and some beer chasers. The object is to not respect beer here, but to get hammered....:grinning: its what I would do and have done....of course I add a few extras:grinning:

    Congrats and good luck!

    Well, I'm running to the store in a minute - so thanks for all the great suggestions. Not sure what I'll pick up yet, may depend on what they have. I do plan on also getting a 120min just for fun because I always thought it was way overpriced, but this seems like a good time to splurge a little bit.

    I'd personally reach for a champagne.. but since we have to stay within beer world, go for a really nice, special sour that you have or can get. For me bubbly sours make me think of really good champagne which is always a celebration.. DDG that shit noodle... and start the new job with a new mindset to correct your bad habits and kick more ass
