But there were major equipment delivery issues that stalled everything.

Good thing they limited to one case each per person so that there would be some for the weekend. LOL

Looks like I have to re-evaluate some of these $4$ trades :grinning: How many were you able to get your hands on from Madison stores? I was gonna have a friend pick some up but decided to make the trip to the brewery to buy it by the case.

Higher yes, but seems reasonable given the distance and the demand. Sue for $8, no problem…I've not yet tried Sosus. I hope to pick some up at the Nova tomorrow. I'd probably drop $10 for Sue and Golden Nugget, paying a bit more given the rarity. Also, they are AWESOME!!!

I'm headed there this afternoon myself so Ill report back when I get there, I hear these bottles fly. What is interesting is you can fill a growler for 9.99 or buy a 22oz bomber for around $7-9. Granted the Novas growlers in my experience dont stay fresh past 3-4 days but still quite a difference. Anyone ever try to ship a growler from the Nova?

I've shipped a few. No issues going all the way west or east.

Good to know. Did you do any sealing or anything on your end?

Sue bottles were 6 bucks the last time I bought some. Growler is still way cheaper but they definitely don't last as long as bottles do.

The couple I've sent out have been fine as well. No extra seals for me, other than the standard taping the crap out of the cap with electrical tape.

They tweeted that its in. 1 bottle limit on Sosus, 12 on Sue. I know its a long shot but I was hoping to bring 2 bottles of Sosus to England for 2 different tastings but didn't anticipate a 1 bottle limit. If anyone has a spare mule or for some strange reason doesn't want their Sosus, I'd be happy to make a trade. I have some 375ml loons or other stuff that might be of interest.

Just left. They got 50ish cases of Sue, and 4 of Sosus. Business was brisk with lots of MN plates in the lot.

Damn...I can only hope other accounts are getting these sorts of allotments. Though I do realize that Casanova is currently servicing a lot of thirsty Twin Cities customers. There are a LOT of thirst customers in DSM and other cities too!

Thanks for the heads up. I may have an extra mule for Sosus but chances are it will be gone by the time I get there 1230

By sheer luck I was between meetings when they tweeted this. Got there shortly after. It was hopping. I can't imagine it will last too long.

Sure thing. At least they still have growler fills of TG regardless what happens with bottles
On a semi-related Hudson note, anyone know what Chicones has for 3Floyds products?

I just think it's cool they finally have their new equipment and they're pumping this stuff out like beast mode. I applaud them for taking care of as many markets as they possibly can, even if some markets (like Iowa City/CR yesterday) sell out in a matter of hours. I really look forward to seeing what their distribution will be like for other beers in the future. Really hoping for some MD at some point.

Exactly this. I too applaud TG for working their asses off and trying to hit as many markets as they can to provide their fans and customers with their awesome products! They are doing the best they can and I'm sure that production will be ramped up in the future once all of their equipment is fully operation and they will be able to provide more product to all, which will be great. I recently heard that by the end of the year, TG will be the largest production brewery in Iowa (beating out Millstream, Peace Tree, Great Lakes, Backpocket, etc). That is good news for us all!!
