    We are commencing with bottling tomorrow with roughly 20 days of bottling ahead of us. Everything we have pulled from the barrels in our vetting process has been really good to stellar. The 2013's should be very distinct with the range of barrels we acquired. Glad to mix it up a bit versus the 2012 Heaven Hill 'only' line up.

    We're working on making the patio a better space to hang out so fresh air is a possibility. Plenty of heat lamps, fire pit, and chairs for lengthy discussions on the merits of craft beer etc.

    Nothing confirmed but for folks who come up the night before we're discussing a possibility of going through essentially the 7 years of Eclipse in vertical fashion. Keep tuned for developments....

    Sorry if this comes off as pimping. Just needed to get word to attendees on developments for the event.

    I'm in the same boat - would love to hear more details/confirmation on this Wed. night event while I still have time to figure out my work schedule and hotel reservations. Been on the fence between a Wed/Thur night stay or a Thur/Fri night stay and this only makes that decision harder...not that I'm complaining!

    Why? You don't need an Eclipse party ticket to attend this, or at least that's not what is stated in the original message. What's to stop people who got shut out from going up there the day before the party?

    Can OP clarify if there will be a vertical tapped the day before?
    Though me and my gf missed out on the release, we still need to pick up allocations for ourselves and trustee for trade partners. Preference is to to go on a day when special items are tapped. :-)
    Out of curiosity, I refreshed at midnight repeatedly and got locked out despite sales lasting over a minute. Was there a system glitch?

    Sadly I couldn't get tickets I hope there is some JAVA and Pappy Van left after the party...Not going to hold my breath heh.

    We are looking at our sister restaurant for this to happen. It would be BOTTLES not draft. Some vintages might be missing but 2007-2012 represented. I figure 20 seats at best. I'll be there and we'll work through all of them.
    Perfect event for ticking. Other beer, snacks, palette cleansers, water, aspirin and ibuprofen provided. Working out a price and a high and low head for it to happen. This is not yet official!!! Message me if you are interested and I'll get back to you...

    Wednesday, 12/4 7:30 to 11:30pm. What? 6 years of Eclipse (almost all variants...2007 and 2008 will be poured most likely last time 5050 will serve ever from bottle.) After dinner...dessert(s) and chocolate. Tutored tasting with Brewer Alyssa Shook and Brewmaster Todd Ashman...we'll reflect on early days and contemporary production. There are 23 spots. Beer mail me for a spot. You can reserve 2 spots only. Price not yet finalized but it will be fair.

    12/4 vertical...keep share bottles at home for 12/5. Its a tasting and hopefully won't damage anyone so the 5th starts out with a clear mind and body.

    Boy that's going to be a tough week, we have a Stout Tap Takeover here on Black Friday, then that night I'm doing a Big Boy Stout tasting then the following week This dinner and release party...wonder if I should setup a spot for me in treatment afterwards :stuck_out_tongue:
