Heady Topper #1 or #29?

    Honestly, I have a lot of respect for the bros and the place they have created for us but I really don't pay any attention to their ratings. I am interested in the collected opinion of our beer neerdom with the bros' rating being a couple of scores in that sample. That being said I do enjoy reading the descriptive language folks are using to characterize the qualities of the beer. Some reviews do this better than others and I would same the bros and regular reviewers on this site tend to have pretty strong command of language and their senses.

    I like to review beers before looking at the web but of course there is hype and bias that comes with these scores. I know certain breweries tend to have well regarded beers and I would be surprised if that did not have some impact on me whether conscious or not.

    Anyways, a little off topic. Heady is still one of my favorite beers and it doesn't bother me it is number one even after having beers I personally enjoy more.

    Locking this one down now. OP's question was answered and there's already been plenty of discussion on Heady Topper, where it lands in the ratings, if this person or that person likes it or not, etc.
