Yes, another thread for the same beer! Stone has an infatuation with sequential or repeating numbers don't they.

    Bottled today.

Anyone have experiences with the delay in Stone distro starting a state and Stone special releases coming to that state? We started getting Stone in mid-August, no specialities yet. Looks like I'll be heading to Iowa next week.

On the bright side, every state Maryland borders is getting it. Shouldn't be too long a drive.

GREAT idea except for Maryland Law:

Maryland employs a legal framework that generally prohibits the importation of alcohol into the state. The second set of exceptions gives consumers a very limited ability to bring alcohol into the state for personal consumption.
Allow consumers a limited ability to import alcohol given four different circumstances:1
In general, a consumer who is over the age of 21 may bring into the state for personal consumption one quart of any alcoholic beverage at a time and not more than two quarts of any alcoholic beverage in a calendar month. Further, consumers must physically import the wine themselves whether by car or plane. Since the exception only allows for a CONSUMER to bring a small amount of alcohol into the state for PERSONAL consumption, a person cannot have anyone else bring the wine into the state for them nor can they bring wine into the state with the intention of gifting or otherwise transferring title to the wine.2

I'm starting to really like living on a state border, now that both Kansas and Missouri are part of Stone's distro area.

Delays are usually more distributor and store issues, at least here, but delays can occur. Also, not all markets receive all of Stones stuff. Up until recently, we didn't get any of the Collaborations, like another 3rd of Stones distro. But with Enjoy By, Stone makes sure the beer is where it needs to be when they say it will be there. If you're hitting up a store that knows it's stuff, they should have it.

Holy geez! We are getting spoiled! I am not complaining, trust me. I'm just glad there is a fresh DIPA to keep my palate fresh during the fall/winter.
