Incredible box from TheSevenDuffs! Wow, I'm glad this made its way to me and thankfully Fedex didn't lose it. Have not had any of these before with a number of wants and a few I thought I would never see:

That's a great box. Just the other night I was drinking a Darkness (same year I think) and spilled an entire glass all over my damn desk.

 

@FondueVoodoo: Glad you liked the box!

A couple of things worth pointing out:

1. The Black Oak Saison is the Barrel Aged version aged in French Oak barrels with gooseberries.
2. The Witchshark & Monogamy Kohatu are both very fresh ~ about 2 weeks since bottling.
3. The Ghandi bot should be very fresh too, but they don't bottle date.

 

So where do we stand now? These threads are always so much fun to follow.

Don't want to go back to questions about Montreal and where Cantillon can be found spamming this section.

Is there a way to like a post more than once !!! Wow, awesome box!!

 

Just had a box from SebD land here at my office....opened it up to find epic awesomeness!

A quick peek revealed some goodies I certainly never expected to have the chance to try, as well as two other beers that were heavily wrapped and were marked "Open second last" and "Open last"....I will wait until I get home to see what these are, and of course will post pics later tonight.

Thanks again SebD, I think you outdid yourself!

I strongly recommend unpacking onto your desk and uploading a poor quality photo right now. I made a new friend doing so!

 

Wrote hoppypocket to say thanks...he apologized(!) for sending a beer from BDT bc I live so close. So he sent Trou Du Diable's L'Imperatrice to replace it. What a guy!

We should CanBIF all the time.

 

Dave is a quality trader - I have been lucky enough to have been on the receiving end of some great trades with him.
