Is craft beer your hobby?

For me the entirety of it is a hobby, and like others I'm running out of room to stash bottles as well. And on top of it, I always say, well I should wait to open this one.. Between just browsing these forums, reading magazines and books about beer, experimenting with home brewing, browsing local bottle shops and taking vacations based around beer, I'd say it's a hobby.

 

Video games.
Sports.
Beer.
Food.

Probably my top four, in about that order.

 

Snow skiing, Cincy Reds, and then beer.

 

I consider home brewing a hobby. I consider drinking beer a necessity.

 

Homebrewing is a hobby of mine.
Good beer is my alcoholic beverage of choice.

Beer is an interest, maybe a hobby to an extent, though I don't really do a lot besides buying and drinking!

Not necessarily craft - I drink macros too and they interest me.

I consider it one of my two main hobbies. The other is collecting music (records & CD's). I would like to make it part of my career, but aside from becoming a home-brewer, I don't know where to start. I don't really have any interest in actually brewing myself, but would love to get involved in another aspect of the business.

I can hardly keep up with my main hobbies as well as I like and this is a pretty new area for me. I could see that changing in time, though.

 

I'm falling in love with brewing too. I started making turbo yeast bum wine last year and moved onto cider and then wine. Doing my research and gonna start beer soon. It'll save me some money (I hope)

 

Homebrewing is a hobby. Craft beer is what I drink when I don't produce it myself.

 

I have a few hobbies aside from craft beer drinking/making. Magic the Gathering, playing music, video games, cooking, among other things, really press me for time. When I can do multiple hobbies at once...bliss.

 

Yes, and a job as well.

Snowboarding, hockey, baseball, golf, and working out are my main hobbies though. Craft accompanies most though.

 

I don't consider buying craft beer a hobby. It's fun and it costs more money than if I were buying Rolling Rock, but I have never thought of it as if it were a hobby.

Music, home brewing, and cooking are my hobbies.

 

It's a hobby. One of a bunch. With dwindling spare time, it has risen to my main interest because it's the only hobby I can partake in while I eat dinner.

 

No I don't consider it a hobby ,drinking is something I do. same as eating ,sleeping , and other things that you don't want mental images of.

 

Its more of an obsession really. I hit up the local bottle shop once a week at least, I'm on a first name basis with the employees there. If I'm not working I am generally doing something beer related, most often reviewing old recipies and changing them up for my next homebrewing session, or cleaning equipment, or checking the cellar for my next brew to drink. I spend entirely too much time and money on this shit to call it a hobby.

 

It is certainly one of my hobbies, but not my top hobby. Working out, sports, food, reading and craft beer are my main hobies, and in that order.
