I have to agree with others, you need to chill. It isn't Aaron's job to come into these forums and give us information and help us out. He gave everyone an email address to send issues to and they will address them accordingly. I think your expectations of someone getting back to you immediately are a bit ridiculous and unrealistic. I'm sure the guys and gals at Saint Arnold will do what's right and take care of the issue, just have some patience.

Jeez man, it takes a few days to respond to emails. Do you work in the corporate world? If so, you'd understand this.

 

I've seen a whole lot of flack on twitter, in person, and elsewhere about how BA is so terrible and the forums are a never before seen hive of scum and villainy. And most of the complaints I've thought, "yeah I don't know if that's fair."

But this time I'm gonna be the one complaining.

It's totally acceptable to be upset about something, no one would question that. It's totally reasonable to not like something, even when others think you are unreasonable for it. Sure, I might believe that Aaron's timely response (when most breweries in this city wouldn't bother) is more than wonderful. But you're allowed not to. I might believe that the fact that the brewery wants to get it right, regardless of the timeline, and wants to replace bottles at a cost to them is more than wonderful. Again, it's fine if you don't agree.

But what's not fine is treating someone like less than a human being because of your unhappiness.

While you have a right to be unhappy, upset even, you do not have a right to treat others poorly because of that. Aaron took time out of his day (and I have to imagine as a brewer at a massive brewery, with a newborn baby, and who knows what other responsibilities, that's a pretty big deal) to go above and beyond the call of duty.

So maybe he didn't do so to your satisfaction. But he still did so. Your responses were not only rude, they were offensive and they cast a black mark on this whole community.

It's important to remember that though you may disagree with someone, the person you're disagreeing is still a human being. Treat him like one.

 

It's been a close race for "SW Asshole of the Year," but I think we finally have a front runner.

 

Yall are all giving this guy too much attention. Just another keyboard warrior who would say shit in person except "thanks for replacing it". That's my biggest complaint with this site, so many people act tough behind their screen. To the brewers of SA, thx for coming on here and keeping us posted on upcoming releases and ect. Lets move on now.

Dallas update: CM Lovers is now sold out.
Total Wine has a few cases left at 2 per.
Specs should have it available nowish. Order is coming in atm.

 

I'm in central Austin. On Monday I picked up two with my better half at Sunrise mini mart (1 each). Rosedale market was also carrying (in the back). The owner(?) said another customer had come in wanting to buy all of his stock, but he wants to spread it around, so I got 2 from him, +$1.00 over retail each. My better half also bought 2 from him, we both ran by at lunch and didn't know the other did haha. Specs by Highland Mall still hasn't received their shipment, they said they were expecting it yesterday or today but it still hasn't come yet. The Flagstore (ew) said they sold their stock when it arrived a week ago.
I'm fine with 6 total, was gonna pick up another two or so for a friend out of state from specs if they ever come.
