I'm sure these are delicious, but I just don't understand how a 300% markup is justified.

Seems like there was about a 50% chance to get a winning ticket

    Vanilla Bourbon - 934
    Cognac - 534
    Cognac Muerte - 817
    Bourbon - 420
    2705 bottles (assuming 6,000 tickets)

Holy crap, so FFF made $135,000 on just the barrel aged beers :grimacing:

Mad about waiting 5 hours for the pub's only barrel aged to be black sun.

Yeah they really cashed in on the barrel aged stuff this year. That price is insane. People will pay it, but they shouldn't ask them to. I think I'd rather have almost half a case of KBS.

It makes me sad how MANY bottles of the BA DL are on ebay already. I always expect at least 1-2 bottles of something to pop up after a release, but for something as limited as this to already have like 20+ bottles on ebay makes me sad.

You should subtract one bottle from one of those bottle counts. When I was leaving around 7pm somebody dropped one of their BA Darklords and they bottle broke and spilled all over. Im not sure white one though.

Seems as if everyone accounted for a pretty good sized payment for the Chicago brew pub!

It's interesting to see brewers starting to decide that maybe it's better for them to make money off the beer. Higher prices should eventually help with the supply problem we currently see in craft beer. World class beers priced a few dollars more than off the shelf beer is part of the reason it's so hard to get the really special ones. I've never had any of the BA dark lord variants so I don't know if they are worth the price to me, but maybe $50 will make people think "do i NEED to have this beer" before freaking out and also entice breweries to make more of it. $135k might help with making it worthwhile to buy more barrels or space.

Bourbon says out of 688, not 420.
