"Both are destined for 750mL bottles, which are historically only released at the Bell’s General Store in limited quantities."

Awesome. Just what I want...to go on another whale hunt for limited release beers. Forget that crap.

The first one is good... Lots of Brett with light tartness, super drinkable.

    The second one....... *shiver*

Hopefully Le Bretteur is a play on their Le Batteur and is a (white?)wine barrel aged, bretted biere de garde. Man, I would love to try both of these. Rum barrel aged Baltic porter? Sign me up!

I had both at Bell's Cafe the Rum Baltic Porter was good cold but as it warmed up became very boozy, but still liked it thought it had a good cola quality to it. The Bretteur was fantastic, not too sour and a good white wine quality to it, really hoping to get my hands on a bottle of that.

When I did the Bell's tour after the KBS release they had a porter aging in rum barrells. Guess this is that. Maybe it needs to age at least a year like BCBS and similar big BA beers.

Haha I liked the BA Baltic rum bomb. It seemed to be a fifty fifty with people who loved it or hated it. I'm surprised they chose to bottle it, but glad.

I just had Block 15's Bon Voyage, a baltic porter aged in rum barrels. It was ok... wouldn't seek it out again

Ummmm, Inis and gun rum aged (wouldn't call a rum bomb...) I'm thinking that this going to be a stellar porter, hopefully just a smooth and lightly sweet

It really is a rum bomb, at least what they had on tap at the barrel party. Literally rum, with some beer splashed in it. The Brett one is really nice, the other is going to need some age.

sadface, I was going to go to bell's barrel age but ended up going to vivant's the day before. If vivant ever cans or bottles love shadow....buy it...smoother bourbon stout than bbpt5. Good to know about the rum porter though. Will probbaly still buy it to age.

Had Mr. Castries Vilnius at the ROTB party. Save your money. Put it towards a bottle of Prichard's. On the other hand, the Le Bretteur Ale was quite refreshing.

Agreed with all of the comments listed above; Mr. Castries Vilnius was by far the worst beer I've had at Bell's. I get what they were going for but any hints of the porter were drowned out by what tasted like drinking a straight rum shot. Le Bretteur, on the other hand, is quite good.
