    R.I.P. Nosferatu.
What was once a hop driven imperial red, is now a malt bomb. First it was the neutering of Dortmunder, then it was the emasculation of the Commodore, now they have screwed with what was formerly one of their best brews. Saving some scratch on hops, eh Conway bros?

Either way I still enjoy it. GLBC ranks as my No.1, they have enough variety that there is always something I like on the shelf. Big deal

Tastes the same as it does every year.

Yes, everything must be as hoppy as possible otherwise it's not good...

Ah, I forgot that Nosferatu was a double IPA.

I'll write them an angry letter.

So wait. Is this beer being discontinued or it this a thread about how this years seasonal release of "x" isn't as good as last years release of "x"?

Interesting. I had one on tap at GLBC brewery and thought it was great with a nice hop bounce to it. I had a bottle that was from the original bottle release last week and noticed the hop profile had fallen off considerably...noting that it did indeed taste different and more malty.

GL is incredibly consistent so I think this one is on you (or timing) and not Luke.

This is going to sound crazy, but maybe your palette has changed and the beers haven't?

I see "Stock Ale", and for some reason, I think "malty".

I don't recall it ever being described as an "Imperial Red."
