    I am starting off with a beer most of you have never heard of. It's a Belgian style Dubbel brewed with cherries from Borealis Fermentery in Knife River, MN

    WOW! I haven't even had a chance to drink any yet. My bottle was so carbonated that when I opened it foam started pouring out of the bottle for almost 15 seconds straight. I have a mess to clean up.

    Malaysian dinner at Banana Leaf in Philly. Assam Ikan Bilis (anchovies in chilly paste)...one of my absolutely favorite dishes in the world!

    I will finish the bottle of Mon Cherries later. Maybe I'll like it more. The cherry flavor just seemed off to me.

    Holy box of beer Batman! Now this is one great beer form Ithaca's Box of Hops. This is Double Zilla and I la-la-love this one. Cascazilla is one of my favorites and this stayed true to the originals base flavor profile and then added a little bit to it. This is the booziest one of the lot and I paired it with lobster bisque and a nice, soft tuscan garlic flavored bread, and later I am goign to try it with rosemary roast chicken with stuffing and gravy. Cheers!
