    When 6000 people are crammed into a space made for 1000, it makes for a clusterfuck of lines. I saw people standing by the port o johns saying they were in line for DL bottles? The fuck. lol. All in all, it was a great time and great event. Tons of fun.

    I tried the BA Robert the Bruce with raspberries at 15th anniversary. I was personally very disappointed. I don't think Bruce handled the barrel treatment well and the raspberry was very medicinal, like cough syrup. Just my .02

    How did people get BA alpha klaus during the event? I kept seeing people carrying them around but didn't know where they were being sold. Would love to have gotten a BA klaus with plums.

    I didn't even participate in the afternoon bottle sharing... Didn't want to bring down my rareness average for the day. Also, did you miss the '06 Fou Foune?

    Joined BA just because of this day.

    I went in with very few expectations, and excited to try some good beers.

    This day WAY exceeded expectations. Yes, there were some dbags, but overall, people were so friendly, and very willing to share their beers! I tried beers I have been dying to have.

    Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who so graciously shared their fantastic beers. I was the albino girl in the bright yellow sweatshirt, so if you gave me beer, know you're appreciated! :slight_smile:

    I had a great time at my first DLD. I way over did Friday night so I wasn't in the mood to do much drinking on Saturday but I still had fun. Everything seemed to run great. I just wish the Dark Lord line was better organized. We had no idea where the line ended so we just jumped in anywhere we could.

    Insane good beers. Really smooth event until whatever happened that stopped the C line. It barely moved between the time people started queuing up around 4:15 or so, (knowing it shouldn't move until 5) until we had to leave around 7:20. I had a great time and apart from massive sleep deprivation, too much booze, too much rain early... It was a breeze.

    The 10 pounds of meat I brought to share sure went fast!

    I will be posting my DLD story somewhere, but for now I just want to say that I had a great time and I'm happy that I met a lot of you guys. The generosity was incredible, people were sharing EVERYTHING. A guy even gave us a full glass of Bourbon County Cherry for free.

    I'd like to single out David (dlello2) for hanging out with us the whole weekend and being a cool guy in every way. Cheers!
