Yeah, i don't think that bottle in the bg has anything to do with this.

Which label would make most sense with an orange wax:

    Something else?

    I'm going with GGA.

Wasn't Bourbon Big Sound wax green last year? Meaning, does the wax really need to match the label?

I do think GGA is logical, but something else wouldn't surprise me at all!

Confirmed by twitter, it's BA Good Gourd and it will be available, "Not quite yet".

I never had any BA Big Sound, so i'm not sure... but at least the Green is logical with that bottle... green is in the plaid on the bag pipes. doesn't seem as much of a stretch... all speculation from this beer nerd

Sooooooo....I've thinking that maybe this next bottle will be a sale just to el catador similar to 110k. Hence the email about knowing our number. So GGA for that and then big don will be the actual club release?

That may very well be the case... but they did say expect bottle two VERY soon... so would we see two back to back bottles like last time? Seems unlikely. They didn't have enough 110k to make it a full release. In this case, they have plenty of Good Gourd Almighty. I could see it being the 2nd bottle, and then extra bottles up for sale to members, like Forgotten Island (maybe even multiples? no idea the bottle count, but it looks like a ton... i would love to get a few of these. I've been jonesing for this from the moment I heard its name mentioned.)

I would appreciate an opportunity to have two, but would pick up a case if it was an option!

CCB has all my money already, so I probably couldn't get a whole case, but I'd get as much as i could scrap together for this one.

I just found this post and went to twitter to see what you are all referring to. All I see are some bottles with orange wax on top. And no labels. That could be barrel aged horse piss for all you know.

I will wait for official word from the brewery.

It would probably be the best tasting BA horse piss in the universe, though

What style would don guava be?

Last years Guava Grove was a Farmhouse Saison, however this years was a Sour/Wild Ale but CCB said there will also be a non-sour version. It all depends on which one they put in the barrels

Actually based off reading the label, it could very well be an entirely different brew with even more guava than Guava Grove

I would think it would at least have to be a higher ABV version for the barrels, with more guava added for balance.

The label mentions "Double Guava Ale" so that seems to indicate it will be a higher ABV than Guava/Sour Guava, i think.

it's a totally different beer than Guava Grove.
