been on the site for a little while now but this might be the first time ive posted. i just wanted to know what beer styles different people like to have for winter and even fall. Do you drink the same style year round or does it change some with the seasons. Ill drink IPAs and DIPAs year round but start drinking imperial stouts and barleywines when it starts to cool down.

ESB and Brown Ale. Toasty and malty sweet, but without putting you to sleep.

Anything big and malty. I do also like a witbier or IPA thrown in here and there, as well.

Stouts and malty beer consumption does pick up in the fall to winter months, however IPA's are a year rounder.

I live where it snows a lot! easily drinking English Barleywine in front of a fire can't be topped.

I drink the same styles as I drink in other seasons, although my consumption of stouts/etc. is probably increased simply due to the fact that there are more of them on shelves.

The weather/season has approximately 0.01% influence over the beer I drink. IPAs in December and RISs in July.

I get bored if I drink the same type of beer all the time, so I have to mix it up whatever season it is.

looking forward to trying descute's jubelale this weekend. (saw it at my beer store this week, but purchased shiner wild hare pale ale for $4.99 a six instead. bargain shopper.) sierra nevada celebration is on my want list too. probably get some samuel adams old fezziwig ale for the christmas season also. usually stay with the hoppier beers, but do like some of the nicely spiced winter offerings.

BCBS is my choice for the winter. Similar to what the others have mentioned, stouts, porters, dubbels, quads, and winter spiced beers (especially the Belgian ones)
