Nice beer on the chili-stout bandwagon. Seemed a bit hotter and bolder than Mexican Cake. Delish will purchase/trade again.

 

Was pretty awesome at the Taste. I liked this one and the other ghost chili stout from Zwanzigs. Neither were too hot that you couldn't taste the base beer. Smaug's Breath was just behind them IMO.

 

Sounds awesome. Is this beer going to see distribution?

 

I was able to sample this beer at this years GTMW. I enjoyed it. Even though the ghost chili pepper was used it's not an in your face heat. You can tell it's there but in a complimentary way.

 

I second this. I tried it at the Great Taste as well and was very skeptical that the pepper would overwhelm the stout but it's really well balanced. CW's great stout base with just a bit of heat at the end. It was in my top 5 or so beers I tried there. I'll buy a ton of this if it hits distro

 

Is this a similar base stout to Brewhouse Coffee, or is it going to be more like the Satin Solstice base?

 

Talked to Paul at the Brickhouse during the Taste and he said this was a completely different base beer. They had another idea in mind but didnt turn out as well as they had liked so they decided to throw ghost peppers in it and let it sit. He said it should be hitting distro sometime in the fall and he was thinking around November.

 

Anyone know if this will be hitting the usual markets for central waters?

 

I've heard that Space Ghost will be packaged in 22 oz bombers. I heard it should be out in the next couple weeks.

So happy to see that this is being bottled and sold. It was the most intriguing beer of the Great Taste for me.

 

Never had any of these stouts with chilies, definitely am a bit intrigued as well as a bit weary of the whole thing........ probably going to have to pick one up.

This will go great with my vodka that I infused with habanero's. I chopped up 14 of them and then let them sit in a gallon jug with vodka for two months. Great with bloody mary's....now I can use Space Ghost as a chaser.

 

Love me some CW Stouts, will definitely be seeking this baby out.

 

Talked to a couple sales managers at stores in Stevens Point today, they said they have orders in for Space Ghost but don't know when it will be in their stores.
