So where's the Sierra Nevada Celebration?

This is one of my yearly must buy seasonals, always look forward to it. It's just not Christmas without Celebration Ale. My only complaint is I really wish they would go back to the white labels.

 

Keep the faith, Janey, keep the faith! I would kill to get some of the shelf beer you get.

 

An all-time favorite of mine and I can't wait to pick some up. Decorating the tree without a Celebration in hand? That's a paddlin'.

 

One of my local shops still has cases of 2012 Celebration out on the floor. I'm hoping they'll even order 2013.

Last year a case of Celebration was supposed to be the icing on my Beer-thday cake (11/12). I never found as case, although two distros said they'd get it by my BDay. I finally found a six pack half way through December at a GE Market District.

It's odd. I can usually find every SN seasonal or even special right on time, but for some reason, the last...3 years or so, no one had Celebration in the SWPA area until halfway through December.

 

I tried real hard to embed a tweet from SN on here but I ain't no good at this computer stuff. Anyways they are saying that if you come to do a tour today of the facility you can have 'a taste' of Celebration. So to answer the question, yes 'tis the season.

 

Just emailed my local bottle shop owner to get me my annual sixtel of Celebration for the kegerator when it comes to MD.

 

We just got Tumbler over here, so that means we are going to have to really wait to get it......

 

It's on shelves in Georgia.

 

IIRC, Tumbler was August here in SW Illinois, and Flipside around the second week of September. Can't wait for Celebration! But it's just nice to know that it will get here

 

We have it in Charlotte NC .... Do hope it will last throughout the Holidays .

 

The local BevMo has 12 packs. Of course, this is in CA. Your mileage my vary...

 

Asked my beer guy today and he said Distributor was out of Flipside this week, but said Celebration should be here next week. Good scenario to not have to clear out flipside first. Can't wait!

 

I posted a thread yesterday about my surprise to find a sixer sitting on the shelf at my local grocery store but it got deleted. I guess I should've made the title "Why did I find a 6-pack of Celebration so early this year?" and it would've been acceptable...

 

It's on the shelves here in Iowa. Just bought a sixer. Delicious!

Lol good one. Iowa actually has a strong craft beer culture. I can basically get anything Deschutes, Eviltwin, Stone, Sierra Nevada or Founders has to offer. And of course Toppling Goliath is an Iowa brewery, even if it is close to the Wisconsin border. Not saying Iowa is better than Wisconsin (obviously) but better than most think.
