Must try holiday beers

    i am looking forward to the sam adams winter pack (disappointed with the fact that they replaced chocalate bock with cherry version)
    for halloween i am getting a fat jack also.
    i like stouts too
    what are must try winter beers (dont have to be a variety pack but it can)

    St Bernardus Christmas Ale for sure.

    Southern Tier 2XMAS is also a really nice beer- smells just like spiced holiday cookies.

    Sam Adams Gingerbread Stout.

    Hardwood Gingerbread Stout is sought after although I have never had one. Would love to try that this year after liking the Sam Adams one so much.

    I only got my hands on one sixer of ST 2Xmas last year. I really enjoyed it and hope to get my hands on more of it this time. If I remember correctly, Thirsty Dogs 12 Ales of Christmas wasn't too bad. Then again, you could raid a bunch of Sams Adams winter packs and make your own sixer of Old Fezziwigs! :wink:

    Alpha Klaus is my favorite holiday beer- I enjoy a bomber of it every Christmas Eve playing santa when the kids are in bed.....
