Beers you regret drinking?

Bourbon Barrel Hi-Fi Rye, the first time i tried it was at the end of a stoutfest, 4 guys opened 22 bombers that night and the BBHiFi was towards the end, luckily i have had a couple of opportunities to try it sober, but waking up the next morning to an empty bottle you don't remember opening until you check your pictures, isn't fun.

 

Dogfish Head Life & Limb Rhizing Bines.

I didn't mind Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale...but I only had it after seeing at stores, never read anything about any hype. Also I'm one of the few who like Smoked beers.

 

ST creme brulee. a rare miss, I love pretty much everything else southern tier makes, but this beer made me gag just from the smell. and the taste was much worse.

 

I don't drink beer. I just trade them & admire them as they sit in my cellar untouched.

 

I don't regret bad beers. It's part of the experience. I regret drinking my juicy. I should have let it sit and develop a bit. But such is life.

I got drunk at a Halloween party once and woke up the next morning (not remembering the end of the night). Began looking through pictures and there was one of me walking home in my flying nun costume with an empty Bourbon County Stout 09' bomber and an empty RR Consecration...didn't remember drinking them or taking them out of my cellar

 

Heady Topper - can't get a can to reach that 10 week plateau I keep hearing about.

 

That beer literally made me angry.

I dont get the Magic Hat #9 hate. Granted, Ive only had it in a variety pack but I didnt think it was terrible. No I wouldnt buy a sixer of it but in a Magic Hat Variety pack I would drink it up and its not drain pour worthy IMO.

 

Never had it, but it's hard imagining anything worse than Santa's Private Reserve.

 

Haven't tried that one, but Hop Devil is certainly the worse brew I've had by Victory. I gave it several chances, and had to drain-pour each time.

 

I've never regretted trying a beer, bc if you never tried it, it will just leave you wondering what it could be. I have regretted not pulling the trigger on certain beers when I had the opportunity though.

Lime-a-Rita. The last go around make me seriously sick with a nasty headache and heartburn.

 

This! The Bacon Maple was awful!!
I tried it cold, let it warm up & even tried some more a couple of days later but down the drain it finally went

 

Never regretted drinking a beer. I may not have liked it but didn't regret trying it. The only time I came close was the time I drank my weight in Molson... the beer was actually pretty decent for a "party" beer, but the hangover the next day was the worst non-liquor hangover I ever had.
