You really can't go wrong with Alesmith Speedway Stout as far as coffee goes, and as FleetwoodMatt said above me, Peche Mortel is excellent though I'm not sure I'd buy it again at 7 dollars for a 12 oz bottle. Definitely worth it just to try though.

As for chocolate stouts: its not exactly crazy-over-the-top-imperial (but hey, not every beer has to be ) I think Bison Organic Chocolate Stout is awesome, especially if you want to have a few in one sitting without getting shitfaced.

    cheers and happy hunting

    Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
    North Coast Old Rasputin
Great Lakes Edmund Fitz (OK, technically....but it does hold up well.)

Neither are advertised deliberately as chocolate or coffee stouts, but you're going to find those flavors in there.

Even though it has been discontinued I can still find some bottles of Southern Tier Mokah around. It's a great blend of coffee and chocolate. Definitely worth trying if you can find it.

Allow me to suggest a few that have not been mentioned yet...

If you like chocolate, you need to find some Caldera Mogli asap. Drinks better than many stouts.
If you like coffee, you need to locate some Williamsburg Alewerks Cafe Royale.

Both continue to blow my mind every time I crack one.
    So. Damn. Good.
