GL Blackout Stout

Not sure on an exact date, but pretty soon. Definitely sometime this month..

 

I was at the brewery last week and they told me it was going to distributors on 10/31.

 

When do they sell the BA version?

 

The BA version doesn't come out until Jan and has been brewery only in the past.

 

Always look forward to a pack of this beer. A sweeter RIS.

 

I'll be in Cleveland next week, hope it's there.

 

Imho, the ba version is better than bbpt5.

So i've been told.

 

I hit the like button repeatedly on this post. BA Blackout is one of a handful of beers that I really, really look forward to every year.

Which is funny, because although they're both excellent, I prefer Plead to Blackout without the barrel.

 

I've always felt like it was a little pricey based on the BA PT5 and Blacknote release the month earlier.
Better stouts for cheaper.

 

Has anyone seen blackout stout on shelves yet? I heard it was distro this week

 

Picked some up today.

 

Blackout is one of the few imperial stouts I'm not a huge fan of. That being said Plead the 5th is amazeballs. I need more of that in my life.

 

It should be at the brewery for awhile.. it also hit shelves all over Cleveland yesterday so you should have no problem at all scoring some..

 

Had some on tap Sunday but no bottles have made it to Chicago yet that I know of.
