Voodoo K13

I had a trade lined up for Rare and Cherry...fell though, but I wouldn't let it go for much less...it's obscenely good now, but a little hot. Only going to get better.

Yup I was at said tasting and Rare was impressive to say the least. Among plenty of the top heavy hitters in the game! It was basically my favorite of the night. I've had Rare a couple times before and this was by far the best bottle I've had. It was absolutely spot on.

 

I might just call it quits on this beer man, I may be offering too much or the right people might not be seeing it? Either way This is my biggest wants... I offered west ashley+Farmhouse noir SARA+great+bramble+++ a whole list of beers of that caliber to sub out bottles.

Would a very sour blackberry be enough get it done (given the $4$ was evened out)?

 

I'd say post an ISO and maybe you find the right person to do that, but IMHO I think it would take two VSB's. I've been trading for both recently and it seems like VSB x 2 is in the ballpark of a K13, but again, depends on the trader.

 

At that point i just dont see how it's worth it man. People always want ransoms.

 

I doubt it would get done for 2 VSB but you never know. There were only about 230 bottles made and it may never be made again.

 

I wasn't sure, will K13 be made again?

 

Only way to know is to wait til next year

 

I also don't think it would get done, but I've traded rare 1:1 with the K13 and rare 1:2 with VSB, so I think it's more a matter of being able to find a trader who has a K13 and would much rather have VSB and given the bottle count, it's unlikely. I still think it's a good starting point for taking a shot though.

 

Voodoo doesnt currently have the barrels to make the K13 again, and may not anytime soon. Next release will not include K13.

 

Either that, or people who own a bottle just don't want to trade it. (people actually drinking beer!) It is quite good.

Eh, I don't know about A LOT, but it would have to be just right. About the only thing I would consider trading mine for is lambic, or the right awa. People were probably shitting themselves when they saw the completed trades posted by @FleetwoodMatt above, but in all reality, I would only consider option 3 out of that list, and I'm not sure I would do it in the end. (congrats on landing 4 btw!).
