I purchased last years version last month. But, you should find it easily until or through March.

It would be nice but I think it would sit on shelves like Dreadnaught and Ruination.

Savoring one now after finishing a Alpine Pure Hoppiness, my other favorite IIPA. The only aroma I could imagine being sweeter would be if I could somehow go back in time and get another chance to walk into my grandma's house, it is another home run this year. I'll hook up my regular traders, but I'm not going to use to obtain Heady and Pliny like I did last year. I'm keeping this stuff in my fridge.

I tend to agree, but what if it was $3 cheaper? Not saying that could or would ever happen, but I'd sure drink it all year if it were more affordable.

I can't imagine this sitting on the shelf that long if it was year round, but who knows. Regardless, it is a class above Dreadnaught and Ruination.

I couldn't agree more with this statement - Heady is on par, but always a crap shoot as to how fresh it'll be.
There's no other IIPA I would ever trade for Abrasive again - ever.
It just makes no sense whatsoever.

I will however trade Abrasive for a good stout!

I got Parabola and Sucaba for Abrasive last year. I'll make that trade any day.

Oh yeah, but at $16-18 a four pack I think it would sit. We would buy it, but more casual drinkers might not. At Heady Topper prices it would move like gangbusters.

Had my first tonight. Previous years I thought it was great, but this year my taste buds must've aligned... So damn tasty!! I do not remember it being so good.... Lucky are we here in Minnesota!

I visited The Alchemist last summer. That operation must have a crazy low overhead considering how celebrated its beer is nationwide. It's small, bare bones, and I don't know if they had more than five people working that day shift. I think I paid $13 a four pack at the brewery. No beer store or distributor taking a cut.

Yeah I'm not talking about WHY the prices are what they are, just saying at a lower price point it would sell more. That's it.

Did this tonight. Abrasive destroyed. Abrasive is in the Heady glass for extra domination.

Heady is overrated. Almost as overrated as PtE. :-D

Can't wait until haskell's, merwin's, or france44 has some Abrasive online.

So apparently Princeton's in Maple Grove HAD abrasive. But it was such a small amount that Bill didn't sent out any twitter/facebook announcements. And it's now all gone.

Guess I'll just drink more of my Fulton Batch 300. It's not Abrasive, but it's quite tasty.
