Yea the combination of the snow, great bottles, Cam making bacon, and getting out of the mud pit in about a 15 minute window was fantastic. Looking forward to seeing the familiar faces in about a month.

I wish I could do that but was told that for every dollar I go over it cost me ten to each lady.

Thanks, I hope I am coherent enough to check in at 3. I predict a 5 hour nap immediately after check in.

Make sure to bring your man card with you. I'll be needing to confiscate it from you, upon your arrival.

C'mon, use your head. Nevermind that eBay banned all alcohol sales more than a year ago, why would I say disparaging things about Dark Horse and their beers if I planned on reselling them for profit?

I can appreciate that I've been more critical than I should have been about this year's event, but if you had been to last year's event you might be able to appreciate my concerns. The portion of 4elf that I didn't spend standing in line behind the porta-johns was great - I got to meet several great BA's, reunite with old friends and drink some pretty good beers.

I'm not fully convinced that Dark Horse will have their logistics issues fixed but I'll go into this year's party assuming that it will be a step up from last year and I'll have a great time provided I don't get lost somewhere in Marshall at the end of the night trying to stagger back to the Comfort Inn.

Make it cash only. It'll move the lines much more quickly. Come on. Hire a security guard. DH will make that back in the savings by not having to run a credit card.

I'd be all for cash only however I am in no way convinced this would be the magic bullet that fixes all the problems previously stated. The inefficiencies of the event goes much further than payment methods.

Come on now I got you home safely last year (and then what happened at the hotel is anyone's guess...)

    Cheers!

This. Last year they swiped my card and had it back to me in seconds. Meanwhile, the poor guy building the orders had my box ready for me 5min later. Repeat that several hundred times and you have an idea of what 2012 was like.

Well I will hopefully getting my full allocations of BBpt5 because friends from my homebrew club are putting in orders, the ladies just won't know how much they are ordering. So now the budget just went up!! I will deal with the consequences when the wife or friend discovers in the cellar 6 months later that I dropped closer to $200. No need to yank the man card.

You wait...You wait...You wait for something that will make the wait, worth the wait. You wait.

It's all good man. Don't line up at 2 in the morning, please. That's frickin' pointless. The first 300 or so will get full allotments of BAPT5...and there will be plenty of great beers on tap...for cheap...and plenty of places to puke outside.

This looks great! I'll be there & possibly a couple of friends with me as well & they definitely won't be buying the full allotment
