    Got the Memphis, the Curry, some happy fries, and 2 BB5s. Damn good lunch. Thanks for the heads up on this place guys!

    OH MAN I AM SO STUFFED! Got the katzu and memphis bao with a ginger miso salad and a BB5. I am feeling fat right now.

    It was great bumping into @Dicers there too!

    Yeah, Fat Bao is a good name for it. I feel happy and fat right now. Maybe next time I'll save room for the s'mores bao.

    I had BB5 last night. It got better as it warmed, but I was still not impressed. I enjoyed bb4 way way more than this the first time around. It's good beer, but I'm not sure I'd buy another.

    would have been awesome if SA released the base beer with BB5...

    kinda like how they did with BB4 and the weizenbock.

    i wonder if its the same recipe as DR4....

    SA has stated many times this is DR 4 in bourbon barrels. This is fact. Why would anyone think it is not the DR4 recipe?

    I didn't read where it was stated. now I wish I didn't kill my DR4's.

    i have 2 bottles of BB5...not gonna try it until a few months from now.

    Yeah... I got a few of these. Might try blending it with 25-50% or so DR4 to cool it down a bit.

    Frankly, I think that was a GREAT move and they should do it from now on with the BB's

    That Weizenbock was pretty damned good on it's own IMO.

    I'm drinking one right now and, while it IS a bit hot, it's great! Probably my 2nd favorite after BB4.

    Vanilla upfront, peatiness in the middle of the taste finished by bourbon and heat in the back of the throat (which will fade after some aging). I actually don't mind heat myself, but I didn't find it overbearing in the least. They nailed the mouthfeel as well... not thin like BB1 & BB3 were, IMHO. Medium mouthfeel... very very dark brown and ruby red in appearance.

    Definitely gonna be picking up a few more.
