    Update after the weekend:
    Hits: Ortiz - 8, Molina 6, Carpenter and Holliday 5
    Series tied 2-2
    Strikeouts: 64 k's

    Here are some more stats (where would baseball be without them!):

    Some surprises: Ellsbury and Beltran with only three hits each, Freese and Napoli with only one hit apiece.
    Also, Pedroia and Craig both have 4, probably need 7 game series to win.
    The two teams are averaging 16 strikeouts per game.
    Projected totals are 96 for six games and 112 for 7!

    Well, it looks like Big Papi unless someone has two big games.

    Also, 23 more strikeouts for a total of 87 in 5 games!
    Stupid Tigers blew their big chance.

    Papi is on fire. In order for someone else to win it, St. Louis probably needs to start IBB Papi and then big games from someone else

    Greenplastic615 is the winner. He guessed Ortiz with 9 hits, Boston in 6 and 93 strikeouts.
    Actual: 11 hits, Boston in 6 and 102 K's.

    Cards were just like my gd Tigers, they couldn't get a hit when it mattered.

    Great box from Landrewg showed up yesterday - I'll post a pic when I get home from work, but the haul:

    4-pack 2012 BCBS (always fantastic)
    2011 Abyss (see above)
    Pipeworks Closer Encounter (want!)
    Maumee Bay Brewing Co - Total Eclipse Breakfast Stout (never heard of this one but it sounds awesome!)
