Does anyone actually drink "breakfast stouts" for breakfast

I pour Breakfast Stout into my Wheaties.

 

I always have a few before I go off to my job operating heavy machinery!

I always wondered why chocolate is an ingredient in FBS. Unless its in regards to cocoa krispies or cocoa puffs, chocolate just doesn't seem to fit in to the breakfast theme. Why not lactose or maple syrup? Either way Its still delicious and i wouldn't change anything about it. Just a random Jack Handy thought. Oh and all of you who drink beer early in the morning are a bunch of alcoholics. Check yo selves bitches!...into AA that is!

 

DIPA's are my breakfast beers because they act like a mouthwash.

 

Only on gameday. Those 11AM kickoffs require extreme measures.

 

Owing to the broadcast times of English Premier League footie matches I want to see, I'm one of those morally questionable characters who regularly drink before noon on weekends. On those rare weekend mornings when my customary bowl of oatmeal seems insufficiently oatmeally, I might supplement it with an FBS, or an Ipswich or Mayflower oatmeal stout, for that matter, but I usually put off beer until after I've done my daily cardio.

 

A Wisconsinite that doesn't drink before noon? FOR SHAME! You must not be a native?
But in all seriousness, yes! I love a good coffee beer for breakfast, I just assumed everyone did that?

 

I work the graveyard shift...about the only time I get to have a beer is right around normal people's breakfast time.

 

Who needs a breakfast stout when you can have a Marshal Zhukov...

 

This is perfectly acceptable behavior under any of the following conditions...

1) It's the weekend and you don't have a serious responsibilities that day.
2) It's your birthday.
3) It's a holiday.
4) You work 3rd shift.
5) A crippling storm of some sort is about to take place, is taking place, or has recently taken place.

I enjoy getting off 3rd shift and having one with bacon and eggs, but I don't drink during my ''mornings''.

 

I will occasionally have an FBS or something similar for breakfast on a non-working day.

I don't drink on work mornings because I need the room in my stomach for the pot of coffee that keeps me alive until quitting time.

Still have one left. I have to talk myself out of drinking it every day. I want the weather to get a little cooler first.

 

When tailgating I've had all types of beer for breakfast. I was actually planning on having a bottle of Terrapin Wake n' Bake early this morning but by the time I finished what I needed to get done it was about 11:30
