Enjoying a Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad. I'm heading to DC in a few days so let me know what local beers I need to try???

 

I love seeing you enjoy the Box of Hops as much as I did. =)

 

The first beer I treid from Jack's Abby was so delicious I drank it without even writing a review. This time I was prepared for a stunning lager and wrote it all down. Happy Veterans Day and let's drink some beer. Cheers.

This beer kept the quality of a lager and added just the right amount of hops to show them off a little but not get carried away. Extremely food friendly with just a hint of sweetness. This beer is uncomplicated by the hops and is quite engaging.

 

Sipping on this bad boy as I vacuum the gutters ahead of the snow later today.

Happy Veterans Day to all that have served. I toast your courage and sacrifice!

 

FINALLY I get to post a real-time of what I'm drinking because of Veterans Day. One more reason to be utterly thankful to the men and women of served or are serving, and especially to their families for enduring their absence and heartbreaks while they serve this great nation!

It is with a heavy weight of sadness that i crack open the last bottle from my brick. My fiancee got it for me as my christmas present last year, and in return i got her a boxer puppy named Quorra who passed away last night. Im drinking this to celebrate her all-too-short time on this earth, and want to say thanks again to any BAs who see this who helped out during the fundraiser I had for her in the summer, it meant the world. She fought a good fight and made it past her first birthday. I'm going to miss her so much, here's to Quorra.
