    In honor of Houston Beer Week here in Houston I have decided to create this awesome thread where we can share all of the cool deals and events!


    One of the better deals I have found is this:

    Premium Draught is commemorating Houston beer week with incredibly cheap growler fills!

    64 oz. fill - 12 bucks!

    You would be dumb and not pick up a tasty growler on the cheap!

    Picked up a 64 of Windlass and a 64 of BB Elda Milk Stout during the weekend for 24 bucks!

    Anyone see that there is a special Goose Island takeover today at Hay Merchant.

    They listed that they will have "vintage" bottles there to sample. I wonder how special or "vintage" these things could be?

    I started HBW out Saturday morning at Hay MErchant brunch. Yellow Rose Cask and unfiltered/unpasturized Pilsner Urquell. Both really good, along with the pig ear tacos. Looking forward to this friday FW releases, too

    Well n/m that is pretty darn sad to hear, I heard they busted out rare at the Austin tasting...

    Oh well, I'll still go to check it out a bit at least and hopefully get some info on Black Friday.

    That's pretty bad ass, my meetings ran late so I missed out. Work keeps getting in the way of my beer drinking

    Disappointed in the Goose Island tapping at SL Saucer...expected more from them. Glasses were not given out and the rep didn't really know much about the company he works for. As a result, not going to HM. Yellow Rose at WF is killer. World of Beer wanted $8 for an 8 oz snifter of Pumpkinator...BS! Hope others are enjoying Houston Beer Week!

    Went to the SAVOR Houston event at Third Floor last night. 18 3 ounce samples with food pairings which turned into a brewers party and they just kept pouring. Got 4 pours of BB1 and 3 of BBH 005. Had some BB Elda M and French Toast Alt Universe that were also highlights.

    I did off the grid beer week events.

    2 bottle shares with all kinds of goodies. Not disappointed that I missed dinners and other special events.

    I was just glad to share good beers with good people. :grinning:
