Good lovely fuck. Ignore the Saga posts & they'll either stop or slip quietly away.

As far as I'm concerned, an $8 bomber of Sue is one of, if not THE best value in craft beer.

3 bombers of ZD would be $8.
3 bombers of furious would be $8
A bomber of BCBS would be abouut $10

See what I'm getting at. bombers are the worst concerning "value"

$10 growler fill of sue at nova. Now that is a good value

$10 growler fill of Sue is by far the best value, but just want to point out that bottles of Sue in Iowa are NOT $8. I believe I paid $5.99/ea for the last round. So, perhaps value can also be varied by location.

Who paid $8? I thought they were in the $6-7 range at Casanovas.

I didn't get to pick any in Madison today. If I'm lucky there will be a few bottles left tomorrow.

They were ~$7.50 today after tax and deposit.

Actually, Oakland Road Hyvee had them for $5.49 today. Could only get two. Benz was on par though with the $7.50 though.

Bummer for me. Waterfront and Eastside Hy-vee had limit 1 @$7.50.

$2.50 drafts of pseudo is a damn good deal round here. I don't see the point of chasing it around town when it's available on tap here and almost guaranteed fresh around here at multiple places.

This right here! Unless you are trading away all those extra bombers, or you can't stand drinking beer around other people, I don't understand the Pseudo chasers in Iowa City.

We get it at a couple of places on tap in Madison, too. I just can't get out to the bars that much anymore. It's easier for me to hit up a liquor store on my way home from work and enjoy it at my convenience.

Places got 4x less this time around. Not complaining at all because MN and IL don't get any. I'm always extremely happy when I hear TG is coming to town again, even if I don't get any!

I prefer it on tap, definitely. It's nice to have a bottle of it to keep around but in this case, I'm taking some bottles to trade to my cousin for Pipeworks on Thanksgiving.

I have small children, so I don't get to go out and drink at the bar very often. This makes TG bottle releases quite exciting for me.

This right here. Not everyone has the luxury to go drink at the bar whenever they'd like.

Still on tap for growlers at the Nova. I grabbed two yesterday, and Sue continues to amaze.

I buy strictly to trade. However, Only 3 stores in IC got bottles, and 2 of them only got 1 case each, with a 1 bottle limit. I assume John's was the same. There was also 1 location in Coralville, and 2 in North Liberty. So not much beer at all to do anything with.
