If Abyss isn't that great, leave it on the shelves for me. I'll leave the BCBS for you...except the Backyard Rye. I want that one.

And thank you for bringing it to Freetail. It was delicious. I want more. It had a lot of fruit for being 2 years old.

BCBS is my favorite BA stout. I don't care who makes it. I'm buying it. Love Abyss as well, but its not as good as it used to be circa 2010.

I think KBS is way overrated, still good though. Will be enjoying it at FS tonight.

Abyss never sees shelves in Houston now.

I buy 1 every year for vertical.

It ages wonderfully. I need to see what 2011 is like as 2010 was pretty nice over the summer.

While this is unquestionably true, it should be noted that the margins on Budweiser are razor thin (since they have to compete with MillerCoors) whereas the margins on their "craft" offerings are significantly thicker. That is, a greater portion of your BCBS dollar goes to their anti-craft activities than of your Budweiser dollar.

And also I can only have as much of an impact as I can have, but every bit counts. I don't litter for the same reason. Sure, I can't stop everyone from littering, but I can at least prevent my amount.

I have no problem with this and agree in theory. I just love BCBS. At least I don't really throw any other money their way.

Oh, and to the OP, sorry for derailing thread.

I think it's a nice idea, but if you wind up with 30 people involved and one bottle of cherry rye, lots of people are going to be disappointed or get pours from an eyedropper.

I'd buy beer from bernie madoff if it tasted good and got me drunk.

Or people get excited because for about 20 years this has been one of the best releases in country. Year in year out without exception. It was one of the first still one of the best and 0 quality control issues... Or it's just not your favorite beer. No crime there
