State distribution map

    Just out of curiosity, what is the chances of something like this being a practical endeavor at some point? Or maybe even a joint venture with seekabrew.com that manages one outside of BA? It could be kept up to date by user-submitted content, similar to being able to add beers/places to BA's database. It would add a nice dynamic to the trading forums and ultimately make BA an even more complete resource.

    That would be amazing and I think it could be feasible the way you describe.

    I know that not all states have a three tier system like Pennsylvania does, but if you really want to get distribution lists just go to a distributor and ask for one. I have packets at work from Bella Vista, Origlio, Shangy's, Stockertown, Nevulis, Muller, and Penn that basically gets me everything I need with prices, quantities, sizes... Ask around.

    I'm not talking about finding out what's available in my own state, I have a pretty good beat on that. I'm talking about as a reference for traders, or even a reference to for someone visiting a state and wants to know what to expect from the area.

    As mentioned in another thread:

    We plan on adding distribution by US state for all brewers/beers too. We also plan on adding release dates for seasonal/rotating offerings.

    ETA: Site redesign in 2014.
