I'm hesitant to buy anymore after that waste of $25 that was a Strawberry lambic. It absolutely exploded out of the bottle and left me with about 6 oz to share with 6 people.

once was opened just fine at a tasting. Pardon the what could be a condescending but its really not question, but was it chilled down to temp for a day or so in advance?

Yeah if I were to guess temp when I opened it, it would've been around 40 degrees. The other two variants opened and poured just fine.

The last batch of Strawberry was explosive as well. They sure need to get a handle on that....and the persimmon issues.

but was it at that temp for a day or so? Mr grohrhrnke (christ that last name of yours) has had some experience cracking beers with wild yeasts that haven't been chilled for the suggested 24 to 48 hours. Some breweries put that on the label and I think Upland should too, unless of course it was a single bottle issue because I've now seen three strawberries cracked with zero issue.

I've seen 2 bottles opened besides the dozen+ bottles opened at Beyond the Brews (all Strawberry) and not one gusher

I foresee a lot of Cherry bottles being available after the pickup window ends...

Someone brought a strawberry lambic to the bottle share at qunnsi's and there was no explosion on it. It was my first Upland sour and she was a tasty one.

I look forward to not winning the lottery again and then blowing off steam by complaining about all the non-Hoosiers who did win. Seriously though, I would love to try the raspberry sometime.

A couple hundred to buy 3 of each! I'm stoked. Email aliases are a pain in the ass!

Time to start rounding up pics of drivers licenses and creating bogus email addresses... I'm shooting for 50 SR #4 entries.

you dont have to round up the licenses until you win with the 20 of the 50 bogus email accounts. Just saving you and everyone some time.
