As of late ,as in last 3 mos. maybe a bit longer .2 Heart has not seemed to me & my friends to be as stable in aroma & taste as it has been in the past. I have been drinking 2Heart for many ,many years .And yes I believe it has changed a bit over the years. But now it's just not the same at all .(tap or bottle) The floral is not there anymore. The pine/citrus is so washed out.Doesn't seem to be even a shell of itself( this is not a freshness issue!)
Any regular 2H drinkers out there?

You should switch back from the generic brand to the real thing.

The most recent batch I've had was I believe dated Oct. 10th, and it was great. Just as good as it was before, HUGE citrus flavors, pretty much the fruitiest IPA available year-round IMHO; I always compare it to fruity-pebbles. AFAIK, it's still solely Centennial hopped. I don't drink much more than a 6 or two each month because it's so incredibly fruity to me.
Maybe your tongue is getting burnt out on Centennial flavors? Or hop flavor in general.

Defer to @kzoobrew, who for as long as I've been on this site drinks more Two Hearted than anyone. If there is/isn't a difference he will know.

Yes I could believe that but my regular 2H friends are sayin' the same. I really don't get fruity ,more of a floral pine . White Raja,Headhunter,or clown shoes to me is fruity.
Maybe it's all the Resin I been drinkin'

thanks for you input, will keep trying ,maybe it's the distributor, will grab a case at Costco Mi. next time

I had a few out of a six back last week that I thought were a little lacking in taste compared to what I am used to tasting from a Two Hearted. Then I drank the other 3 out of the six-pack on Saturday and they tasted normal. Must have been something I ate, drank, or possibly some fluctuation in my palate that influenced my Tuesday experience compared to my Saturday experience.

Mine have varied a lot but it could be distribution, retail storage, temperatures, etc.

    ...all the Resin....

Hmmm, sounds like a case of palate fatigue or semi-LTS.

Try avoiding DIPAs (and IPAs) for about a week and then get some Two Hearted to try.

Honestly I believe it's more likely you & your palate than the Two Hearted itself. I used to think it was the most citrusy, floral, delicious thing that had ever been created but as I tried other amazing IPA/DIPA's, Two Hearted was no longer so incredible. I still love it but at one point it was amazing to me based on my limited frame of reference whereas now it's still amongst my top IPA's but not the only amazing beer I've had

You spend enough time around Bell's you'll hear that "it's a different beer than it used to be" about nearly every single beer they brew. I feel that there may have been some issues a couple years back while they were amidst their big expansion, but at this point they are as on point as they ever have been. I do pick up slight variation between batches, all variations can be attributed to hop character. Hops being an agricultural product, some variation is unavoidable. As far as I am concerned, the difference between Two Hearted now and from previous years is negligible.

If you mean two hearted by bell's I just recently had some and I thought that the floral was sweet and lively. Sometimes a floral can leave that vaporish perfumey quality at the back of the throat but not this. This was like taking a honeysuckle flower and finding that beautiful drop of nectar on it.

True- between that aspect and how they tend to age from month to month I find it takes a number of experiences with any American IPA before I can understand its range. You can't just have an 'off' batch and declare it to have gone downhill- it would take a prolonged period before I'd make that assessment.

That Westy 12 I just had was kinda wierd. Tasted like all kinds of stuff was goin on. JK. I had a few 2 Hearted the other day and they were damned good. It's easy to get jaded with so many killer beers everywhere!
