What does your BA username mean?

What brewery? If you don't mind me asking..

 

How many tries do we get?

 

My name stems back to an old gamertag of mine, "Quick2killem and Mr Quick". Changed it to this when I made an ebay account to sell sneakers a couple years back.. now I use it for all my accounts. ISO more untappd friends

 

I'm named for one of the space hippies in the Star Trek episode "The Way to Eden". It's one of those obscure characters that only the real heads know, but that's kind of why I went with it: no matter how into something you are, it helps to be able to appreciate it in all of it's glory, even the totally absurd stuff. And don't take things that seriously. Plus- I just love every second of that ep.

Best beer to accompany it with- Flower Power, of course.

 

Initials plus # that figures into my location. When I first joined BA, I was looking for one answer to some forgotten question. I didn't plan on sticking around for 8 years, so I didn't put any creative thought into my screen name.

 

Edit: Skeeter was borrowed from a friend's nickname. (No story needed!)

Boganski is a play on my last name, which I agree is strange to connect myself in such a way to my ol pal, but what are friends for? Avatar-wise, I love vintage Chevy and aspire to be both Fletch and Clark W. Griswald on a regular basis. Bonus points for him looking hammered in the image.

Favorite go-to? Coors sixer: "I don't discuss business on the linai. If you're wearing rubbers leave them outside, would you."

I don't care what my avatar is but I do care about my wife saying "how many hours are you going to spend on that site?" All I know is once I made her my avatar I haven't heard that question a single time. THAT'S A WIN!

 

I wasnt aware it was the norm to make cool/funny screen names. Now im stuck with my real name on here..

 

So far I haven't built any tube instrument amps, just hifi stereo amps, and restoration of vintage ones, but I have worked on a few vintage Fender amps. Plenty of vintage amps that are out there making music every day, so there is a lot of demand to have them worked on.

 

Shredder is a reference to my favorite pastime/hobby, playing guitar and I'm a huge metal fan. 83 is the year I was born.

 

Just a nickname I got based on my name (Eric) from my unique style of gaming. It works for me but probably no one else in existence could pull it off. This also seems like the right thread to admit that I imagine the people here in real life as being their forum avatars.
