Mystery Stout was excellent, not a fan of BIPAs, typically like ginger but it was overpowering, Beach/Snow wheat is always tasty. So 2/4 but my wife likes black IPAs and I shared a few with a friend.

Just so everyone knows, we have a new batch of Gingersnap that will be in the next round of variety 3.0's. I'm looking forward to seeing if the flavor profile changes at all.

Found a great use for Gingersnap. Make taco meat and replace the water needed with an equal amount of Gingersnap. Some of the best tacos I've had in a while!

Sean, do you think this is going to be a common occurrence?
It's a nice little treat to get 3-4 new brews in a variety pack.

Last week my wife made a roast and potatoes in the crock pot and she used an Evil Urges. It tasted awesome. Last year she made some bread with the Woodmaster that was very good too. I'm lucky my wife is a great cook.

Yes, we are set to release a new variety pack every few months, with all beers that (mostly) are not bottled for six pack distribution. It's very exciting--all of the ones we are planning are sure to satisfy.
Check the code date on the neck of the bottle. Any that are dated from November are most likely the new batch.

picked one up to split with the girlfriends brother in law on thanksgiving, plus a harpoon variety pack as well. It's pretty good, although i enjoyed the 2.0 a bit more. Each one has exactly 1 brew i'm not completely fond of, in 2.0 it was soft parade. This one it's the snow wheat, it reminds me of moscato grape skyy vodka (which was the bane of my 21st birthday). I'm an ipa guy (dogfish head 60 or 90 minute please?) so it was a shame to see none in this one, but they nailed the other three. Mystery stout was great, gingersnap was....different. Enjoyed it more the second time around. Black diamond was a winner. The brewery is 3 hours away but it might be worth the drive. Might make a weekend out of the dark horse brewery and this one.

On the other hand I loved this sampler pack, so glad I can enjoy some shorts now with them including non-IPA beers in the pack. Looking forward to more things like gingersnap or mystery stout

In that case, I have a feeling you may enjoy version 4.0, which is slated to be released in a month or so.
