Zombie Dust in WI?

Not being a hophead I'm not sure about the beer, but I do have to admit that's a nice label.

 

Was this in Madison? I'm sure it was gone quickly. I'm heading down there from Appleton tomorrow. We get no FFF up here. Old bombers once in a while and occasional kegs. May just settle on Alpha King...dang.

 

Star has (had?) some.

 

extremely limited as in the number of accounts or amount being shipped? milwaukee whole foods got 19 cases of it

 

Definitely been here in bottles before but same thing as this time--super limited, lots of places are only selling singles.

 

We rarely even see it in the Chicago burbs. That's a real treat for WI.

 

I just got word that they changed distributors and will not be available till 1st of the year.

 

They sold out pretty quickly apparently too; didn't even know about it until a poster on here mentioned it yesterday. Discount got some too but the east side is much more walkable for a Riverwester, ha. Hopefully Whole Foods gets more shipments of it, just wish they embraced social media or something.

Actually it appears someone asked them about getting more in the near future, and apparently not until..... next year. I'll just have to hope somewhere gets a keg soon.

 

all kinds of distributor rumors floating around. hard to tell what's true. I do know my honey hole for ZD in the west 'burbs of chicago dried up weeks ago. something's afoot

 

I used to live in riverwest all last year and worked at that whole foods the whole time. A lot of beer nerds in the store that get hooked up first too. But they have pretty high allocations of most every account, so always be sure to check them out. I think the reason they don't is because they have to go through their marketer when they get stuff who then has to email out to approve any social media by corperate and by that time, everything is gone

 

This was certainly the first time Zombie Dust and Jinx Proof bottles came to Milwaukee via Beer Capital. Not sure if it's shown up before via unauthorized channels.

 

It will be back again. And hopefully more of it!

 

I don't think it's ever made it to Western WI in places like Hudson. Never even heard of it on tap there. I went to the brewery in Jan this year. No bottles. I cried a little. Then I was happy they at least had it on tap.

We are able to cross over into Hudson and get quite a few 3Floyds beers though.

 

Was on tap at Whole Foods about a week ago.

 

I was able to grab 2 bottles at Riley's on Weds. Does anyone else think it is more bitter & less citrusy than normal? I was able to get a case of it maybe 6 months ago and it tasted much better.

 

Whole Foods where? Which Whole Foods? In Minnesota? I've never seen any 3F at any store here. Stranger things have happened. It's awesome on tap.
