Gosh, if FFF fixes the "crappy label" issue, the Great Lakes forum will cease to exist. There won't be anything to complain about!

Touche! I forgot about the FFF bad customer service argument too.

I picked up a six pack...$9.99... a few days ago. No dates on the bottle.

Just had a gumballhead that was dated 11/18 with a perfect label. Bravo 3 Floyd's.

Don't forget about people bitching about prices!

It was Rayan's Discount Liquors at Ashland/Monstrose. After thinking about it though, they could have actually been $3.99 or $4.99. It is still the only place I've personally seen doing that to take advange of ZD supply/demand.

While I'm bitching about stores with "creative" FFF pricing, Red Violin in Rogers Park has an "interesting" practice. It seems like somebody there buys a case of the taproom-only releases and resells them (Deesko was $18.99 and Stack N Stabb was $15.99 there if I remember correctly). Interestingly enough, these types of offerings also never show up on their Beer Menus listings. So I'm pretty sure they are trying to hide it.

there's another location in the city that has sold brewery release only at their shop, not advertised. there was a 20 dollar premium. i forget what bottle it was but the retail value was 30.

BTW - they still have 5 bottles of Deesko as of yesterday if anyone wants to pay the premium.

Anyone see FFF bombers with bottle dates on them? I would really like to buy the Dreadnaught I currently walk past on every trip to the store.

If you've walked by it multiple times you can probably assume it's not fresh.

That's just it, no way to tell if it's from a new shipment, or the same one from last week or last month.
