I had to look it up
No, I'm never been to High Hrothgar or played Elder Scrolls

My agent told me I should anglicize it from Rotgar, which translates roughly as "bloody spear"
    I'll never understand you humans

Mine is suspiciously similar to what happens when you mash your fingers on a Dvorak keyboard.

Mine is my real first name. I was drunk when I made it and I thought it was asking for my real name in this field, not a site username. Oh well. The cool part is that it was apparently unique enough to have not been taken already.

It's a play on "parks and recreation." Seemed fitting as craft beer drinking is one of my favorite forms of recreation, and I like to visit new places and try their beers. Also, I was watching a lot of Parks and Rec at the time I signed up.

Anyone remember Garbage Pail Kids way back when? One of the "characters" was called Jonny-One-Note, and since my name is Jon, my brothers always called me that, but more often just gets shortened to Note or One Note. And '81 is the grand ol' year of my breaching forth from my mother's womb.

I did my training there in the 70's, and have been a Gator fan since. Muschamp needs to turn it around fast (like beat FSU), or he'll be gone soon.

Back in the day I was a huge T-wolves fan, and nobody I hung out with could understand why.
Many a conversation used to start something like..."your T-wolves really stunk it up last night, so I started using it for my password at work.

The photo represents the country (West Coast, Midwest, East Coast), and how I feel that Pliny and Heady are only half the beer that Abrasive is...IMHO

    MarriedAtGI Zealot (569) Feb 26, 2013 Illinois

Goose Island used to have a banquet hall on the second floor of the Clybourn brewpub. I was lucky enough to be married there 20 years ago - with GI beer served at the reception of course! Our 20th anniversary fell on a Wednesday this year, so we made it back to celebrate on the Saturday just a few days after.

We had not been planning to wed there, but my beer drinking buddy wanted to see the space. So one day when we were all at he pub, we checked it out to humor him. GI's pricing and food offering was much better than the hotels we had been looking at in the city. It turned out to be a perfect venue for a perfect day.
