Dogs + Bikes + Beer?

    What correlation do 'Dogs and Bikes' have with craft beer? Now I like both dogs AND bikes, I just am a miss as to why 89% of all craft breweries need to have a dog or a bike in the name or logo.... Specifically bikes. We could literally probably name 100 beers with some sort of bike connection

    Dogs and bikes are both excellent, sustainable ways to transport beer. Sustainability is very important to many craft breweries.

    Where'd you get the 89% figure? I don't think I've noticed anything like that, but I'll certainly start looking now.

    Bikes and dogs are realities that we love and dream of when we do the things we may not necessarily like to do, but have to do. Beer is something that people take solace in and cherish like their best friend pets and favorite hobbies and pastimes. I don't ride everyday, but I live with my dogs. Cheers.

    Well, my bike has a 106 cubic inch V-twin motor... My two rescue Labrador retrievers are lovable but I don't think they have 106 cubic centimeters of brain between the two...

    I think it is part of the grassroots thing as far as the bicycles go, but I see quite a few cat pictures in brewery website pictures.

    But, factoring in their logo, it is reasonable to assume that they are referring to a nickname for the nurse shark.
