expressing extreme disappointment with new seasonal schedule equals trolling? :-/

I think its funny how much hate fruit beers get all the while the same people are backhanding it to JPGs of fruited sours they would trade anything in their "cellars" for. The fact that YOU don't like fruit beers does not mean they are not good or marketable. The stigma that fruit wussifies beer is stupid. Unless its so sour only a real MAN could drink it.

No testifying against the quality of a beer because of a format and price change (which I am not a fan of) along with demanding Founders buy an oak forrest and payroll an army of coopers to satisfy tickers = trolling.

This was slightly different than their normal Black IPA. Both are fantastic!

I talked to a brewer from Founders at a Founders party at Ashly's a local craft beer bar. He told me that KBS is a unique stout before barreled, Not one of their other products...not the imperial or breakfast stout.

I would love to see the tba to be a black dipa. Would also like to try a brown ale by founders.

I've never really felt they've nailed that category yet. Had Crystal Victory and Diamond Mountain Brown over the past year and didn't feel their yeast fit very well. Obviously just an opinion of mine and they've nailed other categories so no reason they can't pin it here.

Everyone always seems to be complaining about Founders, but I'm just glad that Florida started getting Founders a couple months ago.

Here's hoping one day CBS makes it's rounds again. I like the majority of Founder's seasonal releases even if I occasionally take them for granted. I'm certainly more curious to see what Backstage releases will be released this year. Can't wait to try Sweet Repute.

The Bruery doesn't belong in the same conversation as Founders. Founders makes great beer that doesn't need to barrel age every damn thing they brew or throw brett in it. Not to mention the Bruery's price points are stupid. Wake me up when the Bruery makes a six pack.

    Bingo. Nail on the head.

All day cans have been flying in most stores at a real nice price point..$15.99 for 12 beers is just about as cheap as you'll see good craft.

All day..not one of their best efforts...should be cheap in cans

TBA Speculation pt. 2.....I was at Founders on Saturday and had the newly-added "Grand Moff", their Imperial Black IPA.

I really really hope that the TBA is this or some variation of it. I feel I am in the minority here but I absolutely love Black IPAs and they did an absolutely amazing job with this one. Please be here for the long run...

And BA Imperial is awesome! Better than KBS, IMO. If he were right, Why would we not see some BA Imperial?

Question, what ratio of FBS to Rubeaus do you use when you blend? I'm interested in trying that next summer.

    Good news: more Imperial Stout.
Bad news: still no six packs of Breakfast Stout.

Overall, still a net gain in my book.

I can't imagine it did well, reintroduced after so long with less beer for more money, great beer or not people will resent it. Distributors are starting their clearance deals now. unfortunate to see such a great beer take such a fall. Maybe people will get used to it
